Rolfing or Structural
Integration is an amazing adventure of
therapeutic bodywork that invites the body’s myofascial
connective tissue to release accumulated restrictions and restore
harmony within the field of gravity. Results can vary from person to
person, but most people have experienced feeling lighter, more open, and
balanced as posture and stability improve; greater energy and vitality
as pain and discomfort are reduced; and a sense of well-being and
expanded awareness of self and of life as a whole.

Rolfing seeks optimal
relationships within the body around a central vertical axis, like a
plumb line. By building supportive connections throughout the entire
system, the body mind as a whole can find equilibrium with balance
and ease.
While it’s possible to receive benefit from one or a few sessions,
integrating the body is a process, and usually a series of
treatments are required for longer lasting results. |

Structural Integration benefits people of all ages with varying
conditions, and can assist with:
-
Releasing chronic tension
-
Optimum performance
-
Lengthening shortened tissues
-
Flexibility and range of motion
